2025 Level 1 Weekend of Recovery, Menucha Retreat Center, Oregon

The 2025 Menucha Level 1 WOR is a collaboration between MenHealing and the Pacific Northwest Community Survivors Network, offering our 103^rd healing weekend.  Menucha is a retreat center located in the lower Columbia River Gorge just outside Corbett, Oregon.

The weekend is designed to provide a mixture of full participant community activities and small break-out group sessions. Special attention is given to creating safe environments that allow participation at whatever level is authentic for each participant. To support safety and engagement, the number of participants will be limited to a maximum of 24. 

Careful attention is given to nutritious food. The meals at Menucha are delicious cuisine, featuring both animal protein, vegetarian and gluten free options. Special dietary requests are accommodated to ensure that each participant has ample, high quality, and enjoyable food throughout the weekend.

Registration will open on June 17^th and remain open thru September 30. The registration fee includes your lodging, meals (Friday dinner thru Sunday lunch), and all program fees. Triple, Double and Single occupancy lodging options are available.

Pacific Northwest Community Survivors Network (PNWCSN) is committed to reducing barriers to healing for survivors of sexual abuse. PNWCSN has raised funds through generous support from our regional sponsors for our inaugural offering. We have partnered with Men Healing to bring a level 1 Weekend of Recovery to survivors in the Pacific Northwest with a substantial reduction of cost.   We are honored to have received donations from several Portland, Oregon legal firms, whose generosity helps to make this WOR possible. Registration Fees (includes meals and lodging):   

SINGLES ARE SOLD OUT - REGISTER FOR  A DOUBLE or TRIPLE and then email to let us know you would prefer a single.  When it gets closer to the date, we may have cancellations or additional rooms available.

We require a non-refundable deposit of 15% of your fee to get started with the registration process.  If you wish to set up a deposit and payments, please choose "pay later"  when you register and our bookkeeper will contact you to set that up and collect your deposit.  Additional financial assistance is available for registrants who are residents of one of the Northwestern States (OR, WA, ID.)  If you are a resident and need help with the registration fee, please apply for assistance BEFORE you register. 

Registration closes September 30, 2025. After registration, each participant will be scheduled for a zoom interview with a member of the Facilitator Team. Registrants will receive additional logistical information about the program following interview and acceptance to attend.

The Facilitator Team for the 2025 Menucha Level 1 WOR is comprised of both male and female facilitators. The facilitators for this event will be Lee Beckstead, Sandi Forti, Declan McCarron, Rich Sims, Paul Stretch, and Jim Struve.

Menucha Retreat Center is approximately 30 minutes by car from Portland or Vancouver, Oregon

Consideration of your travel logistics is an important pre-event planning task, as the schedule of program activities requires no late arrivals nor early departures. All participants are expected to carefully plan travel to arrive at Menucha no earlier than 4 p.m. nor later than 5 p.m. on Friday. Please note that the weekend program begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and end on Sunday, 10/19/24 at 1:00 p.m. (Friday dinner and Sunday lunch are included). Please plan your travel to allow on-time friday arrival and to stay until the conclusion on Sunday.

We highly encourage participants to consider ride share with other participants. Once you have been accepted, people who have requested ride share information will be able to network with other attendees. Ride sharing supports MenHealing’s commitment to environmental sustainability. 

Cancellation Policy: Due to the limited number of spaces, please let us know immediately if you will be unable to attend so that we can allow a waiting list registrant to attend.  All cancellations made before 30 days prior to event date will allow refund minus non-refundable deposit; no refunds will be issued during final 30 days prior to event date
