Description

2026 Advanced Weekend of Recovery

Partners welcome this year!

Building Compassionate Strength:

Pathways to Healthier Connections With Friends, Strangers, and the People You Love

October 2, 3, 4, 2026

Hope Springs Institute, Peebles, Ohio

In a time when many feel pulled into conflict and strong emotional reactions, this Advanced Weekend offers a different path, one that brings together love and power. Through group discussions and  simple, practical mind and body practices, you’ll strengthen your relationship with yourself while becoming more grounded and confident with others.

Our goal is to help you build compassionate strength so you can move beyond aggression and passivity and create more inner peace and healthier connections with friends, strangers, and the people you love.

Because of the special nature of this weekend, we encourage partners or spouses to attend together, but you’re warmly welcome to come on your own.

The skills learned during the weekend can help anyone searching for ways to enhance and grow a caring power with an open, connected love they can share.

The goals for this Alumni Advanced Weekend include…

Reawakening to ourselves and to compassionate strength is a way to experience…

A wonderful experience for me because I reconnected with community, made new friends, and learned how to ask for what I need. - MenHealing Alumni

If you have a partner, they are welcome and encouraged – but not required - to join you. To be eligible, only you need to be a Level 1 alumni

However, if you are single and want to explore and develop your relationship building skills, this weekend is designed to help you as well. We encourage alumni to attend the weekend alone if you have difficulty establishing and/or maintaining an intimate relationship.

To support continued safety, the number of participants will be limited to a maximum of 16.

This experience was one of the most significant and memorable events of my life. It, by far, exceeded all of my expectations and hopes. I will never forget the feeling of complete connectedness. - MenHealing Alumni

This Weekend’s Facilitator Team:

The team for this Advanced Weekend is comprised of both male and female facilitators.  Lee Beckstead, Sandi Forti, Rich Sims, and Jim Struve.

The amount of transformation I experienced connecting with other male survivors was so amazing! So grateful to have found such a heartfelt and supportive organization. - MenHealing Alumnus
